Hi just a quick question about feeding my fish, Iv recently started feeding my fish frozen blood worms i think they are, i jus wanted to make sure im not feeding too much...? Also iv been reading that bottom feeders like cucumber i put a piece in my tank last nite and it wasn't touched. Maybe they'd prefere a banana LOLLOL

I would advise that you only feed your fish Bloodworm occasionally. They are a tasty treat and fish go crazy for them but unfortunately they contain hardly any nutrition.  Ignore this advice...I got confused Embarrassed

Looking at your stock list I wouldn't really say that anything jumps out at me that would eat cucumber. The platys may nibble at it but I would say mostly bottom feeders or any Algae eaters would appreciate the cucumber

The way I know it, it's brine shrimp that hold no nutritional value Mr G....bloodworm are fine and nutritious.
In fact I feed my bumblebee gobies them daily as well as my dwarf puffers along with other foods.  My goldies get some as well as my community tank as well, though not every day.
I enrich my frozen foods with a vitamin spray after defrosting them in a tea strainer first so the juice doesn't get in the tanks Thumbs Up

Your fish may not know that cucumber is food yet. If they're getting enough from the other foods and bloodworm you're using they may not have bothered. I sometimes feed cucumber to algae eaters by putting a piece in overnight and removing it in the morning. It tends to have been nibbled on by then. Leave the skin on, it makes it much easier to remove the excess if it's all held together.
